Our recent trip to North Carolina was just beautiful. The scenery was breathtaking! God painted some Heavenly blue skies and some gorgeous sunsets for us. We spent the first 2 nights in North Georgia to break up the drive from Florida, and then spent the majority of time in Boone, NC this time, with a one night stay in Asheville NC on the way back. The weather was beautiful although the last two days were quite warm. The week we got back to Florida, it snowed in NC! I took over 900 photographs, yes, 900+! I’m a photography nut so I was on a mission to seek after some new artwork to incorporate into my song videos. I thought that weed (5th photo) was a dandelion – I love blowing those and making a wish so I unknowingly attempted to pick it – my mistake – it had thorns all over it! Despite the thorns, I enjoyed our adventure. We got to spend time viewing several different waterfalls and drove for miles on end down the Blue Ridge Parkway. I so look forward to our annual mountain trip – it was hard to leave. I hope I can buy a mountain house and live in NC one day!
